High quality shotgun made in Japan by B.C. Miroku. "Long tang, round knob configuration". Over/Under shotgun chambered for 20 gauge shotshells. It features blued 28" vent rib barrels with white front & mid beads, 3" chambers. Single trigger with serrated shoe installed, dual extractors, top lever and tang safety/barrel selector. It has two piece wood stocks checkered at the wrist and forearm with a solid rubber recoil pad, "Prince of Wales" grip. along with other proof marks. The silver toned receiver is fully engraved with floral scroll engraving. The right side of the barrel is stamped “MIROKU FIREARMS MFG. CO. KOCHI, JAPAN”. The underside of the receiver is marked “B.C. MIROKU”. The bottom tang is marked with the serial number. The Barrels are marked “+” and “++-” near the breech for Full and Improved Cylinder chokes. The forearm is marked with the serial number. The breech block is also marked with a circled “SP” “NP” “20”, and "75mm." matching serial number on the receiver, tang, barrels, forearm metal & wood. "M" prefix are often dated to the mid-1970s, specifically between 1974 and 1978. The bores are excellent/bright, barrels lock-up tight, the receiver finish is excellent, the blued barrels are about 94% with muzzle wear and a few scattered rubs and the wood is overall good/sound, no cracks or chips, there many scratches/dings, a patch of 'bubbling' on the right buttstock and some finish loss, mostly on the lower buttstock where the newer recoil pad was installed.
